Mr Mohammad Shahjahan is the founder Director and CEO of Bangladesh Center for Communication Programs (BCCP) established in 1996 as the successor to the Bangladesh country office of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (JHU.CCP).
Mr Shahjahan has more than 28 years of extensive experience in the field of strategic communication including developing communication strategy; public health research; leadership capacity building at individual, organizational and system levels; planning, designing and implementation of large scale campaigns; community mobilization intervention; management and monitoring of programs; evaluation, networking etc.
He also has extensive experience in developing training curriculum, communication materials and capacity building workshops.
Previously, Mr. Shahjahan acted as the Deputy Country Representative of JHU.CCP Bangladesh Program.
Mr. Shahjahan has a Bachelor and Masters degree in Economics and a Bachelor degree in Law from University of Dhaka.
As a recognition of his achievement Mr. Shahjahan has received the prestigious “Century International Quality Era Award” in 2013 at Geneva, Switzerland.
Mr. Shahjahan has research interest in Non-Communicable Diseases, Health and Family Planning, etc.
