About Us
CARES was founded on the notion that there is a need to construct a shared platform in Bangladesh where the finest of our farmers, scientists, and industrial entrepreneurs can collaborate to develop a common course of action. In pursuit of the notion, a group of like-minded persons, led by Dr. A Majeed Khan, an academic entrepreneur with a background in field action research, decide to form a “apex” entity called the Committee of Action for Research, Extension, and Services (CARES). The overall scheme is to promote research and active liaison among institutions and programmes in order to achieve a higher and faster growth of economy-based research and knowledge extension.
